Trader – Multiple Positions Available

Join JPMorganChase as a Trader to buy and sell securities, derivatives, and swaps. The role focuses on LATAM and North America, advising clients on equities, bonds, mutual funds, and market conditions. Leverage Portuguese fluency to build relationships with Brazilian and LATAM clients and partner with regional hedge funds and financing institutions.

Base Pay

$300,000.00 /yr – $350,000.00 /yr

Responsibilities

• Execute trades in Latin American equity markets, including Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, US and Canada.
• Structure swap trades and execute financing trades to position the trading book.
• Provide market insights in Portuguese and develop Portuguese-language content for clients and senior management.
• Develop relationships with regional hedge funds, financing institutions, and LATAM clients, identifying and closing market gaps.
• Work closely with trading, sales, risk, and compliance teams.
• Travel up to 10% domestic and international to client sites and internal offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in equities swaps trading, sales, or related trading role.
• Experience in LATAM equity markets: equity financing, equity derivatives, and execution of equity swaps.
• Fluent in Portuguese (written, oral, reading).
• Knowledge of LATAM culture, business conventions, regulatory environment, market structure.
• Proficiency with coding, analytics, financing markets across swaps, repo, futures, automation with Python, VBA, and Excel.
• Successful completion of NFA Swaps Proficiency Requirements.
