Job summary

Citadel is seeking an internship to train and empower a new generation of traders. You will work closely with Traders, Quantitative Researchers, and Technologists to develop in-depth knowledge of financial markets and apply advanced statistical techniques to trading strategies.

You will collaborate with senior team members, participate in a structured program, and have opportunities to network with peers at iconic venues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's or PhD in applied math, engineering, statistical modeling, calculus, computer science, physics, economics, or related disciplines required
• Passion for the markets and a desire to seize investment opportunities
• Ability to think about the world systematically and quantitatively, with rigorous handling of uncertainty
• Interest in applying technology and/or quantitative skills to solve trading problems
• Experience with programming, scripting, and/or statistical software strongly preferred

As an intern, you'll get to challenge the impossible in trading through a structured program that will allow you to collaborate and connect with senior team members and our CEO Ken Griffin. In addition, you'll get the opportunity to network and socialize with peers at iconic venues.

Your Skills & Talents:

In addition to weekly pay, interns may be eligible for a highly competitive sign-on bonus, housing stipend or covered living accommodations, company-sponsored travel, and a variety of on-site benefits, including access to on-site fitness and wellness amenities, catered meals, and social and networking events.

In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $3,500 to $4,000 per week.
