Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP in the United States is seeking a Trademark/Copyright Litigation Associate with three to seven years of experience preferred. The role involves managing broad trademark portfolios, TTAB proceedings, copyright matters, and related licensing and domain name disputes.

The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit and should hold an active bar license in the state of the office or commit to obtaining one.

Husch Blackwell LLP is a national law firm with multiple locations across the United States, dedicated to our clients and the industries they serve.

We have an immediate opening for a Trademark/Copyright Litigation Associate with three to seven years of experience preferred. Our Nashville office is preferred, but we will consider candidates for any of our offices including our virtual office, The Link. Trademark litigation/TTAB experience is a threshold requirement. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our Financial Services & Capital Markets business unit.

The associate will work on a broad range of trademark and copyright matters, including large domestic and international trademark portfolios, proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), trademark and copyright disputes, domain name disputes under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP), anticounterfeiting enforcement, drafting and responding to demand letters, litigation support, copyright registration, and trademark and copyright licensing and technology agreement work.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington, and Washington, D.C. is $215,000 to $260,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.

Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
