Job summary

DRW is seeking a Trade Support Intern in Chicago to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of trading, technology, and operations. You will help improve tools, workflows, and processes that keep our trading desks running effectively.

Responsibilities include refactoring scripts, supporting trade capture across asset classes, and contributing to reporting and data analysis. Housing is provided and mentoring is available in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with version control systems (GitHub)
• Demonstrated experience with development work or similar technical projects
• Work authorization in the United States without sponsorship.

How you will make an impact

• Work on refactoring and improving existing scripts within the trade support team.
• Support trade capture across the full range of desk products, including futures, futures options, equities, equity options, and index options.
• Provide operational and technical support to the firm’s FICC trading desks.
• Assist with tool functionality and testing to support front‑end operations.
• Contribute to reporting and data analysis.

What you will bring to the team

• Are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s in Computer Science and have an expected graduation date between December 20207 and June 20208.
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Experience with version control systems (GitHub)
• Demonstrated experience with development work or similar technical projects
• Work authorization in the United States without the need for sponsorship

The annual base salary for this position is $110,000.
