Job summary

Makita U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Trade Show Manager to lead planning, budgeting, and on-site execution for major trade shows. You will coordinate with product management, logistics, and marketing to deliver engaging displays, live demos, and effective lead capture at events.

The role requires 5–10 years of trade show experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. This is a full-time position based in La Mirada, CA.

Qualifications

• Four-year college or university program or degree preferred.
• Five to ten years of trade show and event experience in venues including convention halls.
• Experience executing a trade show booth from the ground up, including arranging shipping and on-site booth setup.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage the annual Makita U.S.A. trade show calendar and budget.
• Coordinate shipping and on-site setup for select events.
• Create demonstrations of key Makita products with the product management team.
• Lead asset inventory management and on-site display/tool inventory control.
• Develop effective lead collection tactics at trade shows.
