Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a senior trade compliance professional to lead global trade remedies, supply chain security, and trusted trader programs. You will support compliance with U.S.

and foreign laws, protect the supply chain, and respond to enforcement actions while partnering with legal and business teams. This role requires strong knowledge of international trade regulations, risk assessment, and the ability to advise stakeholders.

Role Definition

Leads and executes activities related to trade remedies, supply chain security, trusted trader programs, and strategic trade compliance risk management. Supports compliance with U.S. and foreign government laws and regulations while helping protect Caterpillar’s global supply chain, maintain customs program benefits, and respond to emerging enforcement and regulatory risks.

Responsibilities
  • Lead trade remedies activities, including monitoring antidumping and countervailing duty developments, assessing business impacts, supporting investigations, and coordinating responses to government inquiries.
  • Manage supply chain security and trusted trader programs, including Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT), Authorized Economic Operator (AEO), and related customs security initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and execute projects related to trade security, customs enforcement, trade remedies, and other strategic trade compliance risks.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, controls, and training supporting trade security, trusted trader, and trade remedies programs.
  • Support engagements with customs authorities, trade regulators, and government agencies related to supply chain security validations, audits, investigations, and enforcement matters.
  • Monitor emerging customs, trade enforcement, and regulatory developments and recommend actions to mitigate business risk and maintain program effectiveness.
  • Partner with legal, compliance, and business teams to address complex trade security and trade remedies issues and support enterprise risk mitigation efforts.

Additional Information

This position requires incumbents to be onsite in the Irving, TX or Washington D.C office 5 days per week.

Summary Pay Range

$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
