Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess significant U.S. and international trade-related legal and regulatory developments affecting TI, with emphasis on early identification and follow-up.
• Analyze new and proposed laws, regulations, executive actions and agency actions and translate them into clear implications for TI's business, operations and customers.
• Develop practical legal recommendations and proposed company responses in coordination with Legal, compliance and business owners.
• Coordinate cross-functional legal analysis on matters spanning multiple subject areas, ensuring ownership, escalation and execution.
• Engage with outside counsel and other external experts when specialized regulatory or market analysis is required.
• Prepare concise legal and executive communications regarding significant developments, business implications, options and recommended actions.
• Build and maintain processes to identify, assess and respond to emerging trade and regulatory developments.

TI's Law Department is seeking an attorney to advise on rapidly evolving global trade laws and regulatory developments affecting TI's semiconductor business. This role will serve as a central legal resource for assessing significant trade and related government actions, translating developments into practical business implications and helping TI develop coordinated, actionable responses.

The attorney will monitor and analyze new and proposed laws, regulations, executive actions and agency developments affecting areas such as tariffs and trade remedies, customs and imports, export controls and sanctions, supply-chain and national-security regulation, and other trade-related measures. The attorney will work closely with subject-matter experts across Legal and the business to assess impact, identify decisions or actions required, and develop recommended legal positions and implementation strategies.

• Develop practical legal recommendations and proposed company responses in coordination with the relevant Legal, compliance and business owners.
