Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an International Banking Operations Associate to join the Global Trade & Standby Services team in Saint Paul. You will help process GTSS transactions end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, adherence to banking standards, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers exposure to trade finance and FX operations, with opportunities to grow technical knowledge and risk-management skills within a collaborative, detail-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Prior banking, payments, or financial operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Process GTSS products: Import/Export Letters of Credit, Documentary Collections, Banker’s Acceptances, standby LC.
• Support FX transactions: international payments, settlements, investigations.
• Review and reconcile transactions and related documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal partners to facilitate trade transactions, payments, settlements, and disbursements.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, SLAs, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation for paperless, high‑volume processing.
