Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Trade and Distribution Data Analytics Manager to drive performance insights across our pharma portfolio. You will conduct data analyses, market research, support new product launches, and manage trade and distribution metrics through cross-functional collaboration, dashboards, and robust databases.

You will partner with Market Access, Commercial Operations, Finance and Data Sciences to translate data into actionable plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in a scientific or business discipline; 4+ years in pharma/biotech.
• Strong SQL, SAS, Excel and data visualization skills.
• Experience with CRM systems, ETL, Snowflake preferred.
• Exposure to multiple therapeutic areas and product development stages.

Role:

The Trade and Distribution Data Analytics Manager supports business performance insights within Vertex's diverse pipeline, spanning small molecules, gene therapy, cell therapy, and RNA modalities. Responsibilities include conducting data analysis, market research, supporting new product launches, and managing trade/distribution performance metrics through cross-functional collaboration. The role involves developing dashboards, maintaining databases, and executing analytical projects, with a focus on distribution analytics such as demand trends, order activity, and inventory statuses. The role reports to management, collaborates with teams like Market Access, Contract Operations, Finance, and Data Sciences. It is a remote-eligible position with flexible work arrangements and occasional travel.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's in a scientific or business discipline, typically 4+ years in pharma/biotech industry, with strong SQL, SAS, Excel, and data visualization skills (Tableau, PowerBI). Experience with CRM systems, ETL processes, Snowflake, and pharmaceutical data (e.g., de-identified patient data) is preferred. High-value specifics include involvement across multiple therapeutic areas (CF, sickle cell, beta-thalassemia, acute pain, diabetes, kidney diseases), and development stages from Phase 2 to post-market.
