Responsibilities

• Operate Class A vehicles (53' trailer) to transport USPS mail.
• Load, unload, and secure mail per USPS procedures.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tractor and trailer).
• Accurately complete driver logs and delivery documentation.
• Use DOT-mandated ELD application at all times.
• Maintain schedules and meet delivery deadlines.
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and USPS personnel.
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain professional appearance and clean equipment.

Job Summary

Postal Delivery Systems is a growing US Mail hauler providing dependable mail transportation services for the United States Postal Service. We are seeking experienced Class A Commercial Drivers to safely and efficiently transport USPS mail between local postal facilities originated Las Vegas, NV while maintaining strict compliance with USPS, DOT, and company regulations.

Be HOME DAILY. Shifts available 7 days a week. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Flexible availability is required.

• Properly use and remain compliant with the DOT-mandated Electronic Logging Device (ELD) application at all times
• Maintain assigned schedules and meet delivery deadlines
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and USPS personnel
• Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
• Maintain a professional appearance and clean equipment

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial License (Class A required) and DOT Physical Exam
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Postal Experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check, MVR review by insurance, DOT drug testing and DOT physical examination.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial motor vehicle
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to climb in and out of trucks safely
• Ability to secure loads using ratchet straps, load bars, or other securement devices.
• Ability to bend, stop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead,
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
