Job summary

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a TRACS Technician for our commercial tire manufacturing/distribution center. You will perform mount/dismount of tires, assist with shipping/receiving, paint/wheel work, and organize stock in the retread area.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, forklift certification after start, and a safety‑minded, reliable work ethic. Night/weekend on‑call rotations may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in similar role or industry preferred.
• Forklift certification obtained after employment; Commercial TI A certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mount/dismount tires using mount/dismount equipment and tools.
• Load/unload tire shipments and complete related paperwork.
• Assist with warehouse inventory flow and monthly audits.
• Identify and tag tires and wheels in inventory systems.
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe work area in warehouse.
• Assist route drivers with customer pickups/deliveries if needed.

We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our TRACS Technician role.

The TRACS Technician is responsible for the safety, efficiency, and completion of any day-to-day warehouse tasks. This includes mount/dismount area, shipping/receiving, paint/wheel reconditioning, as well as organization of stock and customer retread area tires.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day:

• Mount and dismount various sized commercial tires, utilizing the mount/dismount machine, T45A Tire Iron/Spoon Bar, and/or the “Golden Tool.”
• Accurately load and unload all tire shipments and assist with completion of paperwork.
• Assist with the efficiency and flow of warehouse inventory.
• Assist with all monthly inventory audits.
• Ensure warehouse space is utilized efficiently.
• Accurately identify and enter casing information into BIB Tread Mobile device (BTM), as well as properly tag client’s tires and wheels.
• Properly and safely sandblast, powder coat paint, and cure customer wheels.
• Assist with the scrap out analysis process for Snider customers.
• Assist with reconditioned wheel shipments that are outbound to Snider locations.
• Assist with counting and reconciling monthly retread inventory.
• May be required to assist route driver with customer pickups and deliveries.
• Responsible for the overall organization, inventory, and cleanliness of warehouse.
• Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and demonstrate safety conscious mindset.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance, show up to work on time and in the correct uniform.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures, and values of Snider Fleet Solutions.

This position will be based in a commercial tire manufacturing/distribution center at one of our commercial retread and/or TRACS facilities. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, interacts with moving mechanical parts/equipment on a daily basis, and the noise level at the plant is usually moderate to high.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Education or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in similar role or industry is a plus.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Forklift certification, obtained after employment.
• Commercial TIA certification preferred.
