Job summary

Topsarge Business Solutions, LLC seeks a 91H Tracked Vehicle Repairer Instructor to establish and maintain a comprehensive training program and ensure proficiency as defined in the Performance Work Statement.

The instructor will provide academic instruction, update manuals, and conduct classroom, laboratory, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises in alignment with course material, POIs, and student workbooks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CFDIC course with recertification every five years.
• ISCC with refresher every three years.
• Blackboard 101 Instructor Training refresher every three years.
• At least three years track vehicle repair experience with MOS certs 91A/91H/91L/91M/91P.
• National Accreditation or related certifications for the course tasks.
• Experience with repairs on track, hydraulics, diesel, drive train, brakes, turret functions and maintenance.
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledge of MOS/Doctrinal training regulations.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Detail oriented with excellent organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a training program and ensure proficiency per the PWS.

• Update academic content, POIs, and training packages; review with Government.
• Conduct student critiques and remedial training; assist in updating technical content.

Job description

91H Tracked Vehicle Repairer Instructor - Establish and maintain a training program and ensure proficiency requirements set forth in the Performance Work Statement. Provide academic instruction; review and update academic and doctrinal publications; and maintain vehicles/equipment supported by academic instruction. Provide academic instruction to conduct classroom/laboratory conferences, discussions, demonstrations, and practical exercises in accordance with course material, POI, technical manuals, and student workbooks. Conduct student critiques in accordance with United States Army (USA) ODS Standard Operating Procedures. Between scheduled courses, the following tasks will be completed: making pen and ink changes to lesson plans, cross-training (attending classes), arranging and engaging in instructional preparation and testing material, reviewing and providing pen and ink changes to lesson plans to the Government for change considerations, serving as an Assistant Instructor in classes. Provide feedback at the end of the block of instruction. Assist in updating technical content of lesson material in accordance with this PWS. Participate as a subject matter expert (SME) in developing revisions of the POIs, Lesson Plans and Training Support Packages (TSPs). Provide remediation training, maintain classrooms by re-configuring/setting up classroom furnishings, sort and maintain training aides and equipment, stock training materials and equipment, and/or assist with outdoor training site maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Common Faculty Development-Instructor Course (CFDIC), or its equivalent within the last five (5) years with recertification requirements for the CFDIC every five (5) years
• TRADOC Initial Military Training (IMT) Installation Staff and Contractors Course (ISCC) with ISCC refresher training every three (3) years
• Blackboard 101 Instructor Training. The Contractor shall complete Blackboard 101 Instructor refresher training every three (3) years.
• Minimum of three (3) years track vehicle repair technical experience and must have been trained in track vehicle repair as evidenced by a holding a certificate in MOS's: 91A, 91H, 91L, 91M or 91P
• National Accreditation, or previous employer certifications associated with the technical tasks of the course they are to instruct
• Requisite technical experience which includes, but is not limited to, knowledge and hands-on skills in performing various automotive applications consisting of repairs on track, hydraulics, diesel engine, drive train, brakes, all Turret functions, maintenance and repair, etc.
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Excel) Knowledge of applicable regulations and doctrine regarding MOS or ASI-specific training

• Pass all hands-on and written student tests IAW the ODS Instructional Management SOP

• Proficient in basic mathematical skills up to and including roots and powers and metric notation
• Perform duties regarding moderate assisted lifting (not to exceed 100 lbs.), long periods of standing, sitting or walking, and endure inclement weather conditions on occasion.

Salary: $48000 - $50000 per year
