Job summary

DC Army National Guard is seeking a Track Vehicle Repairer to maintain and repair track vehicles, including fuel and electrical systems. This role involves supervising maintenance tasks and expanding mechanical skills on components such as carburetors, transmissions, and diesel power packs.

You will gain hands-on experience during 10 weeks of Basic Training and 13 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, earning a regular paycheck throughout training and qualifying for tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a physical exam.
• Military enlistment required.
• Ages 17–35.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Repair diesel power plants/packs, compression ignition engine fuel systems, and compression ignition air induction systems
• Fix vehicle air cooling systems and track hull electrical systems and automatic transmission assemblies
• Service track vehicle cross drive transmission assemblies, transfer assemblies, hydraulic brake
