Job summary

Spectrum 360 A NJ Non Profit Corp. is seeking an Athletics/Activities/Coaching professional to lead coaching duties at Plainfield High School. The role requires NJ teaching credentials, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and prior coaching experience.

The position is based at the high school and involves collaboration with students, staff, and families. Candidates should be committed to student development, safety, and program integrity, with a willingness to fulfill substitute requirements

Qualifications

• BA Degree required; county substitute may suffice in rare situations.
• Valid County Substitute Certificate may be sufficient.
• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid certifications required.
• Head or assistant coaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach athletic programs at Plainfield High School.
• Maintain student-athlete safety and coordinate with school staff and parents.

Qualifications:

• Education: BA Degree (Note: only in very special and unusual situations, the county Substitute requirements may be sufficient).
• Requirement: (Valid County Substitute Certificate may be sufficient).
• Experience: Previous assistant or head coaching experience is desired. Sufficient participation in the designated sport where basic skills and techniques of the game are learned and some mastered.
• Certification: Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate, CPR/AED and Sports First Aid (Please submit a copy of certifications)
