Assistant Coach - Jumping Coach. Position available for Winter 2026-2027 season, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups. Coaches of each interscholastic sport in the BWRSD shall be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport. The head coach is responsible for promoting, coordinating and continually improving the interscholastic sport he/she is assigned. Every coach is directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the content, conduct and coordination of his/her program. Athletics is an intricate part of the overall education process the BWRSD and each coach is responsible through enthusiasm, ability and determination to promote and upgrade their interscholastic program taking into account the following areas: administration, budget, rules and regulations, equipment and uniforms, team travel, scheduling, team management, & certification. At Bristol Warren Regional Athletics, the student-athlete is expected to be a student first and an athlete second. We expect all applicants for our coaching positions to believe in the educational experience athletics provides to students and live within the rules and regulations of the program. We expect our coaches to demonstrate respect, loyalty, character, sportsmanship, and honor both on and off the court and/or field. We seek to hire coaches who want to develop each athlete as a citizen of the community. We strive to hire coaches who will ensure that each student-athlete's athletic experience is a positive one, both for her/him and for the School Community. Rhode Island Certificate for Athletic Coach (NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching and Sudden Cardiac Arrest courses) and current Red Cross certification(s) in CPR and First Aid required, as well as annual recertification for RI Rules and NFHS Concussion course.

Mt. Hope High School, a regional 9-12 comprehensive high school for Bristol and Warren, is a 2006 Regents Commended School. In addition to completing twenty four (24) credits of coursework, students must also show proficiency in school-wide expectations, as evidenced by artifacts in digital portfolios. Teachers in all content areas are responsible for giving students opportunities to demonstrate proficiency in school-wide expectations.
