Role Description

The Track Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Paducah, KY, responsible for leading rail track maintenance and construction crews in the field. This role oversees daily work activities, assigns tasks, and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Typical duties include coordinating track inspections, organizing maintenance and repair operations, monitoring heavy equipment use, and assisting with tasks such as tie and rail replacement, surfacing, alignment, and related work. The Track Foreman communicates work plans and progress to crew members and supervisors, troubleshoots job-site issues, and maintains accurate records of labor, materials, and equipment. The role also promotes a strong safety culture by conducting safety meetings, enforcing safety procedures, and verifying that all personnel follow established guidelines.
