Qualifications

• A minimum of high school diploma or GED.
• Must be CPR/AED Certified.
• Demonstrates interest in coaching duties for a specific sport or sports.
• Clean Criminal Background Check, TB test and Child Protection Registry clearance must be completed prior to start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coaches players in sport-specific skills and strategies.
• Maintains attendance forms, insurance records, and related paperwork.
• Oversees safety of facilities during practices and games.
• Establishes performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition as per state/district standards.
• Enforces discipline and sportsmanship and sets penalties for breaches of standards.
• Adheres to DIAA rules and district policies and represents the school ethically.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
