Job summary

Penn State Fayette is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Track and Field Coach to support the Head Coach with day-to-day operations and athlete development.

Responsibilities include coaching and conditioning, practice and meet preparation, and assisting with team travel while ensuring compliance with USCAA and PSUAC rules. Applicants must be able to work outdoors in varied weather and complete background checks. A valid U.S. driver’s license and motor vehicle records check may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of track and field with ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and extreme weather.
• Must complete PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with day-to-day operations.
• Coach and condition student-athletes.
