Job summary

Greenwich Academy in Greenwich, CT is recruiting a Track Coach- Distance Runners (Upper School) for a seasonal, part-time role with a stipend. This position invites energetic coaching to support student-athletes during their seasons.

The coach will guide skill development, game strategy, and teamwork while promoting a positive and inclusive athletic environment. Responsibilities include planning practices, teaching rules, and coordinating with the Athletics Department.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practices focused on skill-building, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Teach sport rules, fundamentals, and strategies appropriate for middle school and/or upper school athletes
• Create a safe, structured, and motivating environment for all players
• Manage team logistics including game lineups and basic equipment oversight
• Communicate regularly with players, families, and the Athletics Department
