Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of track and field fundamentals, training, and competition.
• Previous coaching experience or collegiate track and field participation preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• A genuine passion for mentoring students and developing young athletes.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to sportsmanship, character development, and positive student-athlete relationships.
• Availability for afternoon practices and scheduled track meets.
• Ability to meet background screening and pre-employment clearances.

• Help maintain a safe, organized, and encouraging practice and competition environment.
• Communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, athletic department personnel, and school administration as appropriate.

Position Summary

Trinity Christian School is seeking a passionate and committed Track & Field Coach to join our athletic program beginning in January 2027. This stipend-based position is an excellent opportunity for a former collegiate athlete, experienced coach, or individual with a strong track and field background who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Plan and lead track and field practices that develop athletic skills, improve performance, and promote physical conditioning.

Demonstrated knowledge of track and field fundamentals, training, and competition.

Previous coaching experience or collegiate track and field participation preferred; equivalent experience and a strong track and field background will be considered.

Ability to support and uphold the Christian mission and values of Trinity Christian School.

Compensation and Schedule

This is a stipend-based coaching position. The coach must be available for scheduled afternoon practices, track meets, and other team responsibilities as determined by the Athletic Department. Specific scheduling expectations and stipend details will be discussed during the hiring process.
