Antora Energy is hiring a Process Development Engineer to advance TPV performance. You will own optical thin-film processes, perform device-level modeling, and drive experiments in the fab to translate insights into measurable efficiency gains.

The role blends hands-on cleanroom work with optical design, metrology, data analysis, and structured experiments using Python, JMP, and AI-assisted tools to accelerate development. Onsite in San Jose, CA with a strong compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field with related hands-on experience.
• Experience with physical vapor deposition (PVD) including evaporation/sputtering.
• Proven ability to develop and qualify optical thin-film deposition processes.
• Experience with optical/device modeling and validating against data.
• Familiarity with thin-film metrology tools and measurements.
• Strong Python skills for data processing and modeling.
• Ability to document SOPs and transfers of knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Develop and own optical thin-film deposition processes and equipment.
• Plan and run structured process experiments using Python and AI to analyze results.
• Build and use optical and device-level models to guide TPV improvements.
• Characterize thin films and establish metrology controls for key properties.
• Compare model predictions with measured device performance and refine models.
