Job summary

Keys Auto Center, part of the Warren Henry Auto Group, seeks two Certified Toyota Technicians in Key West, FL. This skilled technician role covers diagnosing and repairing vehicles, performing maintenance, and delivering quality workmanship per dealer standards. Relocation/housing assistance and competitive pay are available.

The role involves using diagnostic tools, communicating with customers and parts, and staying current with manufacturer bulletins. ASE preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instruction and information.
• Ability to use a computer to search for bulletins or technical information.

Responsibilities

• Performs work as outlined on repair order such as oil changes, tune-ups, fluid level checks, and tire rotation.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repairs using testing/diagnostic equipment.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended using checklists.
• Communicates with service advisor and customers if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time; provides labor/time estimates.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
• Participates in manufacturer training programs and stays abreast of technical bulletins.
• Maintains tools and shop area; ensures safety compliance.
