Job summary

Bobby Rahal Toyota in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, using hands-on expertise and up-to-date factory training.

The role requires PA emissions and inspections licenses, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work on mechanical and electrical systems. Schedule is Mon–Fri 7am–4pm with Saturday rotation; pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent troubleshooting to diagnose vehicle issues and recommend repairs.
• Able to work with mechanical and electrical systems and stay current with factory training.
• PA emissions and inspections licenses required to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Identify problems in vehicles and provide honest repair recommendations.
• Perform repair work on mechanical, electrical, and general automotive systems.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in an emissions- and inspections-licensed shop.

Rate of Pay: Based on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Using your excellent troubleshooting skills, you correctly identify problems with our clients' vehicles. You give honest recommendations for upcoming vehicle repair and maintenance needs. You enjoy being able to work with your hands as you accurately and efficiently perform repair work on mechanical, electrical, and general automotive systems. Your positive attitude along with your ability to stay on top of the latest knowledge and factory training ensure your success in this role. Please note, you must already have your PA state emissions and inspections licenses to be qualified for this position.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
