Job summary

Jobot is seeking an Associate Attorney to join the Toxic Tort practice in California offices (San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Los Angeles, Irvine). The candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in Toxic Tort, Asbestos, or Silica cases and hold a JD from an accredited law school with CA admission.

Responsibilities include handling local and national accounts, independent litigation management, depositions, discovery, pleadings, and trial preparation. Hybrid work with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in toxic tort, asbestos, or silica litigation.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and CA bar admission.
• Experience in handling local and national accounts, depositions, and trial prep.

Responsibilities

• Handle local and national accounts throughout California.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload.
• Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.
• Review discovery requests and respond to pleadings.
• Prepare court filings and service to counsel; e-filing experience.
• Trial preparation and maintaining accurate time records.
