Job summary

Nextlink Internet is seeking a Tower Technician to install, maintain and repair wireless tower site electronics and antennas. You will climb towers, run structured cabling, and ensure safety and proper operation of equipment.

The role requires strong teamwork, outdoor tolerance, and adherence to safety protocols. You will perform inspections, adjust antenna positions, complete safety analyses, and document job status.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in varying weather conditions is required.
• Strong teamwork and safety awareness are essential.
• Must pass drug screening and criminal background check.
• Ability to climb and work on tall structures with safety gear.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record is required.

Responsibilities

• Climb towers up to +/-250 feet to install and repair antennas.
• Run power, grounding, fiber, Cat5e, and coaxial cables as needed.
• Inspect completed work for proper hardware, alignment and weatherproofing.
• Document site work, outages and job status using mobile tools.
• Complete JSA before each climb and report on safety and progress.
