Job summary

Tower Coordinator - 2nd Shift at Eaton is responsible for accurate inventory management of tower materials, reconciling consignment stock, and recording material pulls for production. You will ensure all transactions are updated in the system and support material handling to optimize production flow.

The role requires using AS400, MAPICS, Vista, Enovia, and Excel, with attention to safety and compliance. Shift demands flexibility, including overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT, OPT, STEM OPT, or visa programs.
• No relocation benefit; candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.
• 2-year Associate's Degree is highly preferred.
• Experience in Supply Chain and/or Surplus / Warehouse.
• Understanding of Kanban and internal stock control methods.
• Ability to deal with suppliers, supervisors, etc., professionally.
• Experience with reading BOMs and working with internal customers, supervisors, planners.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Tower Coordinator - 2nd Shift.

The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do

In This Function You Will

• Manage and maintain accurate inventory of material assigned to the towers


• Complete Rack Audits on consignment stock to reconcile


• Record pulled material for production as required


• Ensure all material is accounted for and the system is updated


• Monitor tower areas to ensure compliance with part removal


• Assist in material handling for production flow


• Additional systems access and training required


• Effectively use windows-based programs as well as AS400 and VISTA


• Ensuring accurate transactions of consignment material to production


• Recognizing urgent requests from Supervisors and production employees with immediate action upon those requests


• Ability to support the Material Handling Team when needed


• Use of CI to improve the way we pull, store, and catalog consignment material


• Safely operate PIV equipment and adhere to added safety precautions


• Complete Daily Pre-Use Inspection of PIV equipment for damage or wear that would deem it unsafe to operate. Reporting any findings to supervisor or Maint. immediately

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-year Associates Degree – highly preferred


• Previous Supply Chain and/or Surplus / Warehouse Experience.

• Understanding of Kanban and other internal stock control methods


• Ability to deal with suppliers, supervisors, etc. in a professional manner


• Ability to work with internal customers, supervisors, and planners and changing schedules


• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in teams across plant and corporate entities


• Must be self-motivated and results oriented


• Required to work flexible hours – overtime including weekends as necessary


• Must have appropriate written and oral communication skills


• Strong organizational skills


• Experience with reading and looking up Bill of Materials (BOM’s)


• Experience with AS400, MAPICS, Vista, and Enovia


• Computer experience – Microsoft Excel and Outlook


• Able to lift, carry up to 35 lbs.
