VARFLEX CORPORATION is seeking a production technician to operate and maintain a coating tower in our Rome, NY facility. You will follow schedules, perform coating setup, and conduct quality control checks to ensure timely, accurate production of orders.

The role requires attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Safety protocols and proper PPE use are essential components of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Proficient basic math skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Ability to identify colors.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain a tower.
• Responsible for tower set-up based on schedules outlined in Authorization to Produce documentation.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Calculate transmission speeds.
• Set-up coating application.
• Transport material from different departments.
• Obtain coating, dies, and coating tanks.
• Record information.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
