Clifton Steel in Maple Heights is seeking a Material Handler / Overhead Crane Operator (Manufacturing) to move steel materials safely and efficiently. You will operate overhead cranes and tow motors, load and unload plates, and support fabrication tasks in a busy production environment.

This role emphasizes safety, manual dexterity, and attention to detail. Multiple shifts available to fit your schedule in a fast-growing, high-demand manufacturing setting.

Formación

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Overhead crane and/or tow motor experience required.
• Comfortable working with heavy materials (steel).
• Ability to read a tape measure (big plus).
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Mechanical mindset— someone who likes working with their hands and equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Operating overhead cranes to move steel materials safely throughout the facility.
• Using tow motors (forklifts) to transport and stage product.
• Loading/unloading steel plates and materials.
• Assisting with fabrication support and general material handling.
• Reading tape measures and ensuring accurate material movement.
• Following all safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment.

Job Title

Pay

$16.50–$18.00/hour (based on shift & position)

Shifts Available

• 1st Shift: 7: 00am– 3: 00pm
• 2nd Shift (TOP PRIORITY): 3: 00pm– 1: 00am (4x10’ s, Mon– Thurs)
• 12-Hour Shifts: 5: 00am– 5: 00pm or 5: 00pm– 5: 00am
