Position Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Touring Project Manager are to support the successful execution of tours and live events by coordinating logistics, operational planning, and cross-functional communication. This role serves as a key operational partner to Touring Managers, exercising independent judgment and discretion in managing project timelines, prioritizing tasks, coordinating resources, and resolving routine operational challenges. The Touring Project Manager supports advancing activities, event settlements, documentation management, and stakeholder communications to ensure tours are delivered efficiently and in accordance with company standards. Additionally, this role maintains strong relationships with venues, vendors, local partners, and internal departments while proactively identifying operational risks and escalating significant issues when necessary.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day operational execution of tours, events, and live entertainment engagements.
  • Coordinate tour logistics, schedules, timelines, travel arrangements, and operational deliverables.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure key milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are achieved.
  • Support show advancing activities, including venue coordination, artist requirements, production needs, and operational planning.
  • Assist with day-of-show settlements, event reconciliation, and operational documentation.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for venues, vendors, local partners, and internal departments regarding assigned projects.
  • Maintain regular communication with artists, managers, promoters, venues, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential operational risks, delays, or challenges.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing competing operational demands and recommending solutions to support successful event execution.
  • Coordinate internal follow-up activities across Booking, Touring, Production, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, budgets, reports, settlement materials, and operational records.
  • Support expense tracking, budget monitoring, and financial reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, artist riders, venue requirements, and company operational standards.
  • Escalate significant operational issues, financial concerns, or project risks to Touring Managers and leadership when appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and enhanced event execution.
  • Represent the company professionally during events, site visits, meetings, and business travel.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned that are consistent with the nature and level of the position.
What You Bring to the Table
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Entertainment Management, Event Management, Communications, Music Business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in project management, event operations, concert promotion, venue operations, artist relations, or related live entertainment roles.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple projects, events, tours, or operational initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of live event operations, touring logistics, event production, and artist relations.
  • Experience supporting show advancing, event execution, settlements, and operational planning.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in coordinating projects, prioritizing resources, and resolving operational issues.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments and managing external stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, event management software, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices within the live entertainment and touring industries.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

Payscale: $55,000k-$65,000K

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
