Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Total Rewards Director to provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide compensation, benefits, wellbeing, and recognition programs. You will collaborate with People Solutions, Finance and Legal to design competitive, scalable total rewards offerings that attract and retain talent across a growing professional services organization.

This role leads governance and optimization, leveraging Workday HCM and Advanced Compensation to support market-competitive programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant compensation, benefits, total rewards, HR, or related experience.
• Experience with Workday HCM and Workday Advanced Compensation Module preferred.
• Experience in a large, complex, multi-state, professional services, accounting, consulting, financial services, or similarly distributed organization.
• Professional certifications such as CCP or CEBS are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead Baker Tilly's enterprise total rewards strategy across compensation, benefits, wellbeing, leave, and recognition.
• Govern, administer and communicate compensation programs including base pay structures, market pricing, incentive programs and salary structures.
• Provide strategic leadership for employee benefits, wellbeing programs, and communications.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to evaluate total rewards priorities and align with financial and workforce needs.
• Advise leaders on complex compensation matters using market data and enterprise policies.
• Monitor market practices, regulatory developments, and workforce trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Lead benchmarking and market intelligence using surveys and data to support decisions.
• Oversee job architecture and career progression for clarity and consistency across the firm.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure governance, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
