Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3-5+ years of HR/Compensation experience.
  • Advanced Excel experience and ability to utilize spreadsheets to analyze data.
  • Advanced PowerPoint experience and ability to present data through compelling charts and graphics.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

  • Administer health, welfare, disability, HSA/FSA, and retirement-related benefit programs with accurate enrollment, data integrity, and timely resolution of questions.
  • Serve as primary contact for disability, HSA/FSA, ACA, benefits billing, and vendor administration processes.
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes for a seamless employee experience.
  • Manage ACA compliance activities, including data review, eligibility tracking, reporting, and coordination with vendors.

What We're Looking For

Barge Design Solutionsis currently seeking aTotal Rewards Analyst. This role will partner with the Total Rewards Manager to support the effective administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of the organization’s compensation and benefits programs. This position provides analytical and operational support across compensation, benefits, compliance, vendor administration, payroll-related audits, market benchmarking, and employee communications. Through strong data analysis, process execution, and partnership with HR, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, vendors, and business leaders, this role contributes to accurate program delivery, informed decision-making, and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer assigned health, welfare, disability, HSA/FSA, and retirement-related benefit programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, eligibility, data integrity, payroll deductions, vendor feeds, and timely resolution of employee questions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for disability, HSA/FSA, ACA, benefits billing, and assigned vendor administration processes.
  • Partner with benefits vendors, retirement plan administrators, and internal HR partners to resolve issues, improve processes, and support a seamless employee experience.
  • Manage ACA compliance activities, including data review, eligibility tracking, reporting preparation, and coordination with applicable vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support required audits and compliance activities, including 401(k) audits, nondiscrimination testing, benefits reconciliations, payroll audits, data audits, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Audit carrier invoices, complete self-billing processes, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate timely payment of benefit vendor invoices.
  • Support the annual benefits renewal and open enrollment processes, including data collection, system testing, communication support, employee issue resolution, and post-enrollment audits.
  • Conduct job analysis and market pricing to evaluate roles, align job descriptions with external market data, and support recommendations related to internal equity and compensation structures.
  • Coordinate participation in compensation and benefits surveys, including data submission, validation, and analysis of survey results. Assist in the development of reports, models, and spreadsheets to support compensation activities, including merit planning, annual bonus administration, promotions, compression analysis, market adjustments, and pay equity reviews.
  • Support Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners by reviewing compensation recommendations, offer letters, and new hire pay analyses to ensure alignment with compensation guidelines and internal equity.
  • Assist with annual and off-cycle pay processes by collecting, validating, and analyzing compensation data and preparing materials for leadership review.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and communication of job descriptions, job families, career matrices, compensation guidelines, and total rewards program materials.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and job aids for assigned total rewards programs.
  • Partner with the HR team to create employee communications, manager education resources, and outreach materials related to compensation, benefits, and total rewards programs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve total rewards processes, reporting, compliance controls, data integrity, and the employee experience.
  • Partner with HRIS & Payroll Specialist to conduct bi-weekly payroll audits to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Human Resources, compensation related experience required
  • Advanced Excel experience and ability to utilize spreadsheets to analyze data
  • Advanced Power Point experience and ability to present data through compelling charts and graphics
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently utilize data to make sound recommendations
  • Passion for creating a positive employee experience and great workplace culture
  • Ability to travel as needed
