Job summary

Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group (WPMG) seeks a full-time Total Joint trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Orthopedic Surgery team in Tacoma, WA. This is an integrated care delivery system prioritizing evidence-based medicine and physician collaboration.

The selected surgeon will focus on primary and revision total joint arthroplasty, including hips and knees, working with nurse navigators and rehab staff in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required with board certification or eligibility in orthopedics.
• WA state medical license and unrestricted Federal DEA eligibility.
• Experience in revision total joints and handling periprosthetic fractures.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasty (hips and knees).
• Join a team of orthopedic surgeons and physician assistants.
• Work within Kaiser’s integrated care model with nurse navigators and rehab staff.
