Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Conroe, TX is seeking a Tortilleria Clerk to join the Store Operations Team. You will assist customers, help prepare tortillas and masa, and keep the tortilla area clean and well-stocked.

The role requires reading and speaking Spanish/English, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, and the food handler certification. This is housed under the Fiesta Mart banner within the Chedraui USA family.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English and interact with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification is required for food-related positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers in a fast-paced grocery setting.
• Clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays and assist making tortillas and masa.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Tortilleria area; follow store procedures.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision, the Tortilleria Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful service. This position will assist customers, clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays, as well as assist making a variety of different tortillas and masa for the department.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
