Job summary

Lewis Tree Services is seeking a Top Trimmer to perform advanced tree trimming and removal operations for utility vegetation management. You will work aloft or with aerial lifts, lead job-site setup, and supervise crew safety and activities.

Required are at least two years on tree crews and Top Trimmer qualifications, plus a valid CDL. Lewis emphasizes safety, training, and its Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of experience on tree crews and Top Trimmer qualifications completed.
• Knowledge of tree identification, growth habits, pruning techniques.
• Valid driver’s license and CDL; CPR/First Aid is provided by Lewis.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced tree trimming and removal work, aloft or with aerial lifts.
• Lead job site setup, maintenance, and traffic control; ensure safety.
• Lead tree felling, rigging and clearance near energized lines.
• Direct ground-level pruning and removals; train crew members.
• Apply herbicides per laws and company guidelines; operate tools and equipment.
