Job summary

Hargrove Roofing & Construction in Houston, TX is seeking a Commercial Roofing Business Development Representative to drive growth in our commercial roofing and coatings division. You will prospect, build relationships with property managers and general contractors, and turn opportunities into profitable work with support from estimating, operations, and leadership.

This is an outside sales role with strong earning potential including base salary, commissions, and a hefty first-year on-target

Qualifications

• Outside sales or business development experience required.
• Commercial roofing, construction, facilities management, or B2B sales experience required.
• Strong prospecting and networking abilities.
• Self-motivated with a high level of accountability.
• Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
• Comfortable building a territory and creating your own opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship-building
• Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, building owners, and general contractors
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
• Identify opportunities for repairs, restoration, coatings, maintenance, and reroofing projects
• Work with our estimating and operations teams to develop solutions and close profitable work
• Turn first-time customers into long-term clients
