Job summary

ZP group in RTP, NC is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to build, support, and maintain secure computing environments for operational missions. This contract‑to‑hire role requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counter‑Intelligence Polygraph and is located in RTP, North Carolina.

The engineer will deploy and manage Windows, Linux and Unix systems, support VMware vSphere virtualization, and enforce NISPOM/ICD/DIACAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting DIACAP, NISPOM or ICD compliance.
• Hands‑on with routers, switches, firewalls and enterprise networking.
• Experience across Windows and Linux interacting in enterprise networks.

Responsibilities

• Build, support and secure computing environments for operations.
• Deploy and administer Windows, Linux and Unix systems.
• Maintain virtualization using VMware vSphere.
• Ensure compliance with NISPOM/ICD/DIACAP and create SSP/POA&M docs.
• Configure and troubleshoot network gear in classified settings.
