Job summary

People, Technology & Processes, LLC seeks a Requirements Specialist / Technical Writer in Virginia Beach to support strategic planning, acquisition processes and development of capability documents. You will review source material for USV, UUV FoS and manned undersea platforms, crafting formal requirements for NSWG-8, NSWC and SOCOM staffing while delivering monthly status reports.

The role requires a Top Secret clearance, a U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited U.S. college.
Top Secret security clearance required.
3 years' experience conducting research, data gathering, processing and analysis to develop force optimization solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist the Requirements Manager and Requirements Officer in technical writing with emphasis on strategic planning and acquisition processes.
Review source material for Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV) and prepare corresponding requirements documents for NSWG-8, NSWC, and SOCOM staffing.
Review UUV FoS source material and prepare applicable requirements documents for NSWG-8, NSWC, and SOCOM staffing.
Review manned undersea mobility platforms (SEAL Delivery Vehicles, Dry Combat Submersibles, Dry Deck Shelter) and prepare relevant requirements documents for NSWG-8, NSWC, and SOCOM staffing.
Provide monthly status reports detailing accomplishments, planned actions, and blockers to timelines.
Produce clear and concise reports and correspondence in prescribed formats.
Coordinate complex scheduling and multi-step processes.
