Job summary

STR is seeking a skilled Facility Security Officer (FSO) to lead our Industrial Security Program and serve as the primary contact with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The FSO will ensure compliance with federal security requirements, oversee classified information, and support CSSO duties for SAP programs as needed.

Active Top Secret clearance with SAP/SCI eligibility and 3+ years of FSO experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SAP/SCI eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years as FSO or Alternate FSO in the defense industry.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent security experience.
• Completion of DCSA STEPP FSO Program Management Curriculum.
• Strong experience with DISS, NBIS, NISS, and eQIP.
• In-depth understanding of NISPOM, FOCI, ITAR, and related government standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure NISPOM compliance and adhere to federal regulations.
• Manage personnel security clearances via DISS/NBIS/eQIP.
• Maintain Facility Security Clearance and KMP requirements.
• Oversee receipt, storage, transmission, and destruction of classified material.
• Administer physical security systems and access controls.
• Prepare and maintain DD Form 254 for contracts.
• Conduct annual self-inspections and prepare for DCSA assessments.
• Develop and deliver security training including insider threat awareness.
• Report security incidents and foreign travel per guidelines.
• Pursue ISP or CPP certification.
