Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Dedicated Cloud Engineer to support DAF CLOUDworks, uniting 10+ teams across information security, infrastructure development, and cloud migration. You will enable secure cloud offerings and rapidly implement new requirements while reducing operating costs.

You will partner with mission stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions and drive improvements in deployment, monitoring, and performance in a Kubernetes-first environment.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI required.
• IAT Level II certification within 60 days of start date (DoD 8570.01).
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Work side-by-side with mission partners to enable and deploy cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Design, implement, and support Kubernetes-centric, cloud environments.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring using GitOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate and manage networking, storage, Linux/Windows hosts, and security controls.
• Contribute to platform engineering to improve reliability, scalability and security across DAF CLOUDworks.
• Diagnose complex issues across apps, networks, containers, and cloud platforms, driving to resolution.
