Job summary

VISUAL SOFT, INC is seeking a Mid Level Cloud Developer in Huntsville, AL for a fully onsite role requiring Top Secret clearance. You will design, automate and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS and Terraform, and implement CI/CD pipelines.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience and compliance with DoD/IC security frameworks. You'll administer Linux systems, write automation scripts in Bash/Python/PowerShell, manage IAM, VPCs, encryption policies, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of cloud or DoD/IC experience.
• Top Secret clearance required; onsite work only.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of RMF/NIST and security compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and maintain cloud-native infrastructure using AWS services and Terraform for IaC.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Administer and optimize Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell for provisioning and monitoring.
• Configure and manage networking, VPCs, IAM roles, security groups, and encryption policies in AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices, improving release cycles and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to support rapid delivery cycles.
• Support accreditation and compliance activities under DoD/IC security frameworks (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
