Everforth ECS is seeking a Software Engineer to work onsite at our Springfield, VA customer site. You will develop software and APIs for analytic functions in an Agile environment, collaborating with a technical team to deploy and maintain solutions.

Ideal candidates have aBachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering, 4–6+ years of experience, and a TS clearance with SCI/CI-Poly eligibility. Expect a fast-paced, mission-driven setting with opportunities for growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related STEM field.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI+CI-Poly eligibility.
• 4–6+ years of experience designing, coding, deploying, and supporting enterprise-level systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with DevSecOps frameworks (GitLab, Jira).
• Experience with containerization/orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Develop software solutions by conferring with stakeholders, studying information needs, and analyzing system flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Evaluate operational feasibility by evaluating requirements and proposed solutions.
• Estimate and meet timelines, working independently and in teams.
• Brief stakeholders by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development issues.
• Improve operations by analyzing systems and recommending changes.
• Develop tests and testing strategies for product development and operations.
• Automate manual processes with scripting to support throughput.
• Create architecture/data-flow diagrams and diagrams to illustrate solutions.
• Work in Agile environments and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
