Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Aurora, CO is seeking a Product Owner with a strong Java software background to support a critical national security program on-site.

You will have a pathway toward senior technical leadership and potential program management, starting after obtaining Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. The role requires agile leadership within Scrum teams, and experience with proposals and BOEs for software efforts. Relocation assistance may be available, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5+ years of software development experience; 3+ years with a Master’s; or 9+ years in lieu of degree
• Bachelor’s degree in Science with 8+ years of software development experience; 5+ years with a Master’s; or 12+ years in lieu of degree
• Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility at time of application. Requiring TS to start.
• At least 3 years of Java Software Development experience
• At least 1 year of Agile Software Team leadership experience
• Experienced using Jira (as a developer, and in a team leadership capacity)
• Experience working proposals and writing basis-of-estimates (BOEs) for software efforts

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner on a high-visibility, national-security program.
• Collaborate with agile teams including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and developers.
• Contribute to proposals and basis-of-estimates for software efforts.
• Lead technical discussions and help drive delivery in an agile environment.
