Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Meridian, ID is seeking a Used Car Technician/Mechanic to join our Reconditioning Service team at Kendall Ford Commercial Service Center. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and prepare vehicles for sale in a fast-paced shop environment.

Ideal candidates have mechanical or tech experience in a dealership or large independent shop; ASE certs are a plus but not required. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• This is not an entry level position.
• Candidates must have mechanical or tech experience at a dealership or large independent shop.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• A valid driver license and good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify work needed on vehicles.
• Perform adjustments, calibrations, and fluid replenishment; disassemble/reassemble components and replace parts.
• Document all work and hours per Kendall policies; road test vehicles to ensure quality and issue resolution.
