Connected Health Care, LLC invites an experienced Emergency Room RN to join a 13-week travel contract in Topeka, Kansas. The role offers competitive pay up to $2,100 per week and comprehensive benefits, with night shifts from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The assignment emphasizes high-acuity patient care, rapid assessment, and precise EMR documentation. You will assess and treat ER patients, document in the EMR, educate families, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to implement

Competenze

• ADN from an accredited program.
• Active RN license in Kansas or eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year ER/ED nursing experience.
• Experience in a hospital ER and caring for rapidly changing conditions.
• Strong assessment, triage, prioritization, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. in a 3x12 schedule.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and reposition patients; EMR documentation.

Mansioni

• Assess patients in the ER and prioritize care by acuity and condition.
• Provide nursing interventions, administer meds, and monitor status.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and discharge instructions in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, follow-up and discharge precautions.
