Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Soldotna, Alaska, is seeking an Experienced Automotive Line Technician/Mechanic to join Kendall Ford of the Kenai Peninsula. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, perform adjustments, calibrations, and road tests to ensure quality of work and issue resolution.

The position offers top flat rate pay in the area ($25.00-$65.00 per hour), relocation packages, PTO, insurance, a 401(k), bonuses, and a family-owned culture with strong support and a loyal customer base.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of mechanical or tech experience in a dealership or large independent shop.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
• Must be able to operate vehicles with both automatic and manual transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and identify work needed on various vehicles.
• Perform adjustments and calibrations, replenish fluids.
• Disassemble and reassemble components, and repair or replace parts.
• Road test all vehicles to ensure quality of work and issue resolution.
