Job summary

LSI Staffing in La Porte, TX is hiring a Top Loader / Container Stacker Operator to safely operate heavy equipment used to move and stack shipping containers in a warehouse or port environment. You will follow all safety procedures while maintaining productivity and accuracy in container handling operations.

This is a 12-hour shift with overtime six days per week, with day or night options. High school diploma or GED preferred; experience in shipping/logistics or port operations is a plus; valid

Qualifications

• Operate a Top Loader/Container Stacker or Heavy Lift Forklift.
• Inspect equipment before and after each shift and report issues.
• Verify container numbers and locations for inventory accuracy.
• Correctly transport containers to staging, loading, and storage areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Top Loader, Container Stacker, or Heavy Lift Forklift to move containers.
• Load, unload, stack, and relocate containers in yard/warehouse.
• Inspect equipment before/after shifts; report mechanical issues.
• Verify container numbers/locations for inventory accuracy.
• Transport containers to designated staging/loading/storage areas.
• Follow OSHA, company, and customer safety regulations.
• Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping.
• Assist with yard organization and container inventory management.
• Communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, and yard personnel.
• Complete required paperwork and inspection reports.
