Job summary

SYGMA Illinois is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Channahon, IL to safely transport and deliver products to customers. You will drive a tractor trailer, unload at customer locations, and complete required paperwork in a timely manner.

This role offers paid training, opportunities for overtime, and a compensation structure featuring route pay and bonuses with strong earning potential. Evening dispatch and overnight routes are common, with weekend availability often required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of a tractor-trailer driving school accepted in lieu of, or in addition to, high school diploma.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License; insurability required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports and delivers products to customers according to route and invoices.
• Unloads and handles products, using hand carts, and ensures correct stocking.
• Completes paperwork, logs and reports per DOT and company guidelines.
• Maintains food safety and sanitary conditions in vehicle and warehouse.
• Communicates route or loading issues to management.
• Works overnight schedule including weekends and holidays.
