Position Title: TOOLSETTER
Position Summary:Receives, stores, sets and issues hand tools, machine tools, dies, materials, and other equipment necessary for the machining operation. Inspects, tests, and adjusts new and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures, for conformance to specifications, such as dimensions, tolerances, and hardness, applying knowledge of tool and die design, shop mathematics, and machining and testing procedures, using precision measuring instruments, testing equipment, and hand tools.

Accountabilities:The toolsetter is accountable for maintaining the accuracy, availability, and quality of all tools and equipment required for machining operations. This includes ensuring proper inspection, calibration, and storage, keeping precise inventory records, and supporting production staff by issuing, troubleshooting, and coordinating repairs or replacements

Educational Experience – High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational training, trade school, work experience or apprenticeship with machining background preferred.
