Job summary

Tyonek Native Corporation is seeking a Tools and Parts Attendant to support F-15 aircraft maintenance operations. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking tools, parts, and shop supplies, while maintaining accountability and inventory levels.

Ideal candidates will have experience in tool control and warehouse environments, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. Travel across CONUS/OCONUS may be required; U.S. citizenship is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in tool control, parts, supply, inventory, warehouse, or related industrial or aviation support environment is preferred.
  • Military aviation or F-15 maintenance-support experience, including tool-room / CTK support, is preferred.
  • U.S. Air Force or equivalent tool-crib / parts-attendant experience is preferred.
  • Ability to receive, store, issue, inventory, and inspect tools and parts and to maintain accurate accountability records.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance with favorable Tier 3/Secret adjudication and remain eligible for installation access, a Common Access Card, and required Government information-system access.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies, measuring devices, and other equipment used in aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment issued to and returned by maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain perpetual inventory records and conduct periodic inventories of tools, parts, supplies, and equipment.
  • Requisition and replenish stock as needed to maintain required inventory levels.
  • Search for and assist in resolving lost, missing, or misplaced tool discrepancies.
  • Unpack, identify, inspect, and properly store newly received tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
  • Visually inspect tools and measuring devices for wear, damage, or defects and report damaged or worn equipment to appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Measure or inspect tools using micrometers or other applicable measuring devices when required.
  • Preserve tools and equipment by applying grease or other approved preservatives as required.
  • Apply identification tags, markings, or engraved identifying information to tools and equipment using approved methods.
  • Maintain organized and controlled tool and parts storage areas to support efficient issue, return, and accountability.
  • Support tool control, inventory accountability, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention requirements associated with aircraft maintenance operations.
  • Maintain required inventory, issue/return, inspection, and accountability documentation.
  • Comply with applicable safety, security, quality, property-control, and maintenance support procedures.
  • Perform other related duties assigned in support of aircraft maintenance operations.

Job description

Tools and Parts Attendant personnel support F-15 aircraft maintenance operations by receiving, storing, issuing, tracking, inspecting, and maintaining accountability of tools, replacement parts, shop supplies, and equipment. This position may be at either one of our locations based at Mountain Home Air Force Base, ID and/or Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, NC and requires CONUS/OCONUS travel to support maintenance operations throughout the United States and overseas. Ideal candidates have experience supporting military aviation or industrial tool and parts operations, with a strong understanding of tool accountability, inventory control, storage, and equipment condition requirements.

Duties

Education/Experience

  • Military aviation or F-15 maintenance-support experience, including tool-room / CTK support, is preferred.

Must be able to work the normal Monday-Friday day shift, 0700-1530, and approved overtime or adjusted schedules.

  • Ability to use computers, scanners, inventory systems, and other applicable equipment.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
