Job summary

MGS Mfg. Group Richfield Manufacturing team is seeking a Toolroom Utility Support Technician to help ensure supplies, equipment, and facilities are maintained to support the toolmakers on the production floor.

You will follow safety rules, assist with toolroom tasks such as cleaning ultrasonic tanks, organizing tooling, and coordinating tool shipments or reports. A high school diploma and 1–3 months of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Lock out/Tag out and Forklift Training.
• Ability to operate overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Conduct yourself professionally to model safe work practices.
• General shop cleaning duties.
• Organize and order shop supplies and create purchase orders.
• Run tools through the ultrasonic tank for cleaning.
• Weekly inspection of the ultrasonic tank for chemical concentration.
• Tooling storage and organization of tooling.
• Move tools to/from presses for toolmakers.
• Assist with project management requests for tool shipments or tooling condition reports.
• Work on special toolroom projects as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
